Johnson Throws in the Towel
Erik Johnson, NAWBA president, has cancelled the 2001 NAWBA championships in mid October, using the terrorist activity in NY and Washington as a lame, transparent excuse.
The fact of the matter is that because of the failure of Johnson and the NAWBA board to perform their most elementary duties there was no conformation judge, no banquet arrangements, in fact very little beyond an outline schedule with nothing of substance to back it up beyond an all breed herding seminar open to Bouviers, or any other breed for that matter.
While Americans across the land are sucking it up and going on with life, determined not to see our nation dictated to by a band of terrorists, Johnson and the board grabbed on to the atrocities like a drowning man making a last second lunge at a life preserver.
After more than twenty years of fall working Bouvier championships, this NAWBA board has let the candle flicker out.
They should be ashamed of themselves.
