Pit Dog Fighting in America

Commentaries by Jim Engel

The spill over of Pit Bull fighting from obscure rural roots to the inner
city, and the consequent plague of Pit Bull attacks on American
streets, is a complex societal problem with no simple or easy solutions.

In order to avoid heavy handed solutions devised by politicians under
pressure the canine community must do much more than chant slogans
and push blind opposition to breed specific legislation.
