Belco Farm was for half a century the home of the Bouviers du Clos des Cerberes, on Level Road, Collegeville, Pennsylvania. This was just north west of Philadelphia.
For those who never made the pilgrimage, these will just be a few technically mediocre snapshots of a non-descript, run down old farm stead, and such people need not bother with this.
But for some of us this will be a powerful, evocative journey into the past, with many memories of conversations with Bowles, the Bouviers, so agile and powerful in their runs, perhaps of a puppy to take home and found a kennel of your own.
But I must give the warning: do not look up the address, 129 Level road, on Google maps, for the farm is gone and the prime real estate is the home of prosperous suburbanites, likely oblivious that they reside on sacred ground.
